Social Work — Grace Charitable Society

Grace Charitable Society feeds the poor, helps students with school supplies, distributes clothes and blankets, supports leprosy patients and stands with village pastors.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat… whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Matthew 25:35–46

Rev. Dr Ramesh G. Dhale serves God by going into different villages and towns to share the Gospel. Visiting those places, he saw the poverty of believers at close range. Children and women were wearing torn clothes, and some children had no clothes at all. Many bright children could not continue their schooling because their families could not afford stationery or school uniforms.

His heart was troubled by what he saw, and after a season of prayer, Grace Charitable Society began its work. The word God used to start this ministry was Matthew 25:35–46.

What the society does

  • Medical help for the needy
  • Helping poor students with stationery and school supplies
  • Distributing clothes, shoes and blankets to those in need
